Vera is a Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. For over a decade, Vera has supported people across a variety of educational and clinical settings. Vera believes in the importance of building a genuine and authentic therapeutic relationship in her work and strives to create a warm, supportive, and safe space for all. Using a neuroaffirming and trauma informed approach, Vera supports her clients to explore their strengths and work through their challenges in a safe and engaging way.

Vera’s therapeutic style is warm, friendly and engaging. Using a strengths based framework, Vera incorporates playful and creative techniques to help people feel at ease in the therapy setting. Vera’s therapeutic work is always grounded deeply in evidence based treatments, the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy being heavily intertwined throughout her work.

Vera is proficient in both English and Mandarin and is able to offer therapy in both languages.

Vera considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients and their families on their healing journey, and she is continually inspired by the resilience and growth she witnesses in each individual.
